"Night Thoughts" consists of songs released on two digital-only EPs ("Nightstream", 2024 and "Ethereal Night", 2025), plus two songs recorded exclusively for this CD ("By Moonlight" and "The Last Long Walk"). The common thread linking all songs on this album is that they were written and composed during the late night and early morning hours.
These songs were born from thoughts and experiences in those late hours- thoughts of my father ("Farther", written on the second anniversary of my father's passing), the passing of time ("another Circle", written and recorded in the very early morning on my 57th birthday), late-night aurora watching ("Aurora"), and listening to the gentle flow of the stream that runs by our house ("Nightstream")
